WIPing July

Oh my goodness, y'all, I have been meaning to post all month and just now found a bit of time to compose an entry. It's been seriously crazy here, with relatively little going on in terms of crafting. I do have a few things I'm working on, however....

On needles, I'm working on Abalone. Fabulous picture, I know, but I could not find the enthusiasm to lay it out nicely. After binding off the first shoulder, I realized the arm is too tight and I will need to tink back and add in 4-6 more rows on each side. This very likely will be an FO in the coming days, so please watch for a better picture of it when I get a chance to blog it.

Since my mother is here helping keep me sane--mostly--I've also pulled out my sewing machine and am working on a little mystery project in some cotton knit. Mystery project is a mystery... yes.

Clearly, I am tired and a bit stressed out. Sorry for the less-then-coherent babble today, kittens. I'll be back to blogging in the next 4-6 weeks.

Eek! I hope you get some relaxation time soon. I know how it feels to handle a single child by myself. If I had to handle more than one for an extended period of time, I'd probably be like Clara on The Guild -- teaching my oldest how to microwave and locking them in with baby gates. (Just kidding. Sort of.)

LMAO. Ah yes, but at least she had a nanny for awhile. D;

Only 11 more days and then the mister will be back and everything should be fine for awhile.

Hope you get to rest soon. Life does seem chaotic with little ones running around.
